High Level Table Buying Process

1. Initial Consultation - You contact us and we talk about your dream table. I can educate you and answer any questions on the table building process. You are highly encouraged to share any pictures of examples you like. We will discuss options such as wood type, size, colors, finish etc.

2. Rough Quote - After getting a feel for what you want, I will come up with price range for this project. The largest unknown factor at this point is the wood slab. The variation here typically accounts for the potential difference in the costs of slabs AND the slab size. 

3. Initial Deposit - For custom projects I require a 20% deposit to start work. In this case it would be 20% of the low end of the price range provided. 

4. Hunt for a slab - I have several sawmills from which I source wood slabs. I look for one that meets all the project requirements. If I am unable to find what the project requires, the deposit is fully refundable. The customer can be as engaged as they want for this process. I have had everything from "just go buy it, I trust you" to "I want to go with you and pick from the options". 

5. Final Quote - With a slab selected and all the project details agreed upon, I can give a final quote for the project including timeline estimates.

6. Build - Updates are provided often. 

7. Delivery - Free home delivery and setup in the Brigantine area.
